For example you can select some foreign language text on a web page, hit a hotkey (ctrl + space) to bring up the Ubiquity interface, and type translate or simple tr. Text will be translated right on the page into your language. You can send email from command line with “email Message email@domain.net” and e-mail will be sent from your gmail account.
