Solaris 10 10/09 has been released in October. Today I managed to install it in VMware Fusion on Mac OS X. According to the previous version, it seems to me that it is faster. What’s new in Solaris: new features in ZFS, driver enhancements for NetXtreme Network controllers, new NTP, new version of PostgreSQL and new Samba. That’s interesting for me.
